my ds has peed standing up from around the age of 3. I had to make dd try to wipe her own bottom not long before she started school (she had a go and then I finished off - each time I got her to do a bit more until she was doing it all herself)- try using wet toilet wipes e.g. kandoo, andrex, supermarket own make, etc as well as dry toilet tissue. DS (3.6 years) has had a go at wiping his own bottom but didnt do a very good job!
