Can anyone recommend a good potty training book please..?
I'm planning on potty training DS next month when i have a couple of weeks off work, but i have no idea how to start

DS is almost 2.5 years old so i;m hoping he'll take to it easily.

I used the Gina Ford one. Very helpful advice.

I did it with my DD who is 2.3years old. She was dry within 24hrs!!!

I second the Gina Ford one, its brilliant, lots of preparation to follow and you have to be willing to follow it to the letter, but my daughter was dry within a week and I haven't had any accidents since

Wellll, I had the Gina Ford one and tbh it set me up with the expectation that DD (3) would be dry within a week.

It all turned out to be a far cry from that, the process took MUCH MUCH longer.

I guess that's my only problem with books like this. Every child is individual and they don''t necessarily fit with what the books say.

Doozle thats what i keep hearing, but i want to give it a go as i think DS is ready, but i'm not sure i am!!

I guess ill find out in a few weeks

I used the Gina Ford book with DD when she was 24 months, worked like a dream.

It was an intense week but she was properly trained, day and night.

There is lots of potty training advice in the Mumsnet Toddlers book, but for a book specifically about it, may I recommend this Potty Training Bible written by my clever friend Jo Wiltshire
