DD withheld doing wee wee for 8 hours!

Today was day 2 of potty training our 2.3 year old DD.

Yesterday went reasonably well. A poo in the potty and only a couple of wee accidents.

This morning another poo in the potty. Then an accident while we were out on a little walk.

The accident was at 10:30am

Everytime we presented the potty to her after that she just screamed and screamed and refused to go anywhere near it!

Got to 6:30pm and she still hadn't done a wee despite drinking juice today.

She was clearly in pain and her poor little tummy was really hard and bulging!!

Was on the point of giving in and putting a nappy on, when hallelujah - she did two massive wees in the potty

Well, she certainly has the bladder control sorted.

Congratulations to you and your LO for succeeding at the end of a long and trying day.

Oh my god we have got this same problem - 6 hours and counting!

something that almost always makes someone wee is the sound of running water - or pop them in the bath if you feel like they need a wee! Might bring it along - it does with my dd!
