My 3.7 yr old son has been trained for the last year and recently he has been wetting his pants regularly. He seems to do it when he is busy and can't be bothered to go to the toilet. I know he will not do this forever but I am sick of the washing. I have tried rewards and punishments but nothing seems to work. He is far better when he is with me but when he is at nursery he does fairly badly. Any help?

Hi gder,
I feel for you. We just started potty training and the washing is never ending and we are also running out of pants!
My mum said when she potty trained me, she would let me stay in the wet uncomfortable clothes for a bit (5-10mnin max) so I it would bother me and I would bother to use the potty next time! Not very friendly for a nursery though...or being outside at this time.
Hope someone with better advice comes along soon.... Good luck
