my dd has been dry during the day and at night since she was almost 3. She is now 3.9
She has had the odd accident at night - perhaps once every couple of months. However we are having more frequent accidents during the day and at night now. Nothing has changed at home and her routine is the same. I have been putting the daytime accidents down to laziness and her not wanting to interupt whatever activity she was enjoying to visit the loo and therefore I have expressed my displeasure with this. The night time accidents I have kind of blamed myself for as I had forgotten to ensure or failed to check that she had done a wee before bed, however with two night time mishaps in three nights I was quite annoyed with her this morning, I could understand if she hadn't mastered the dry nights thing, but I'm annoyed because I think she can do it (give or take and odd accident) but she is being lazy. I think you are all going to tell me I'm a mean cow but I would appreciate your wisdom as she is my oldest. Cheers.

DD1 is just turned 4 and has the occasional accident during the day, normally when she hasn't got to the loo on time as she is too busy watching tv playing. I know this for a fact as she normally wets herself either in the bathroom or on the way
I don't express displeasure as she doesn't have the bladder control of an adult but just say 'Oh dear, right, lets clear it up' and she helps by putting ehr dirty clothes by the washer.
She was potty trained at 2.6ish but DD2 is reaching that age and showing no signs at all of beibng ready so I really think it is dependant on your child, not anything you do or don't do.
