DS 4.4 has JUST started pooing on the toilet with no fuss, skids, tantrums etc after 18monthish of being wee dry but constantly soiling his pants, pooing in them, kicking, hitting, refusing to sit on it etc

Things came to a head after another 9 days of messy, leaky, smelly witholding so bad we couldn't socialise and I carted him to the docs. We got Movicol, used it for a week, unblocked his bowels and either the shock of me actually yanking him to the docs or the medicine has made him start 'normal' habits in a heartbeat. Been fine for 6 weeks now.

With him it was always a a control issue, possibly inflamed by arival of baby sister, starting preschool?
It was almost as if he thought I have had enough of this.

So just thought I'd share as hopefully it should get better for you if you have this problem. I know how frustrating/disgusting/distressing it is.
