Has anyone used the Max floaty things as a training aid?

Just wanted to know your experience on them

ds2 is not interested in the slightest at potty training but has just turned 3. I've tried and tried so i thought i'd give these a go

Are they a good thing or a waste of time??

what are max floaty things?sorry,tried googling but still no idea!

They are floating balls that you put in the toilet for little boys to aim at.
