DD is 2.8 and although has the language and is aware when has poo'ed (and I think, when wee'ed) she does not seem remotely interested in potty training. We tried 3 mth ago and after 4 days of nothing but accidents (no potty sucess at all) we gave up. I think she just didn't know when she needed to go. We now have DC2 on the way (due end May) and I think we need to give it a go well in advance of this - BUT - nothing seems to have obviously changed. She is still not showing interest in potty, even though several of her friends are potty trained and she has seen then (and me) use the toilet/potty. She just seems to like nappies and whenever we raise the topic (you can use the potty. wear big girl pants too), she just looks blank then carries on with what she was doing. Help! Do I give it a go again now or risk waiting another month or so?
