DD is 2 years 2 months (young, I know), and following a sudden interest (by her!) in the potty, I decided to risk giving potty training a go. In some ways, it has been going quite well since day 2 - lots of wees in the potty, and today (day 5) we had the first poo in the potty.
But... she's still also having lots of accidents (doing a wee just after I asked her if she wanted to go etc), and it really only seems to work if we sit her on the potty regularly. DH thinks we should give up as she's back to nursery on Tuesday after the Christmas break and she doesn't seem to recognise before she needs to go. I feel as though we should give it a bit longer - perhaps see how the first week back at nursery goes. Opinions, experienced Mnetters, please?!
