Wiping bottoms!

Anyone got any advice on teaching ds to wipe his bottom? he's nearly 3 and a half and generally pretty good about going to the loo when he needs to, but at home I wipe his bottom for him after a poo, whereas at nursery either he tries to do it for himself or the teachers don't do it very well. either way, his bottom isn't exactly spotless at the end of the day!

I'm sure I need to teach him to wipe his own bottom - he's got to learn I suppose! - but can't even imagine him managing. any advice much appreciated!

Do you have the toddler wipes? My DS is interested in wiping his own bum, but is horrible at it. I let him wipe AFTER me. That way there's not much mess while he's learning.

As for nursery, I'd have a word with them and find out who's wiping and provide some toddler (wet) wipes. They should know when he's gone to the loo to poo and should be able to give him his wipes if he's wiping himself.
