DS having accidents

and DH gets annoyed because they are usually seconds after DH has asked him. Now apparently i have to deal with it as he "doesn't have the patience". FFS he has the patience to fiddle on with his computer for hours on end.
Does anyone have any ideas how DS can learn to recognise the signals? He's really good at going to the toilet, but just doesn't know that he needs to go.

LOL!

with DS he somtimes missed his window to wee

i think it takes a while for them to get the knack or they don't realise until it is a fraction too late

do you ask him if he needs the loo?

also, look for willy clutching and hopping from one leg to another as well

how many accidents does he have and how long has he been trained for?

we're training at the moment, started maybe a week & a half ago
mostly going well, but that depends on us taking him to the toilet regularly, he never tells us (sometimes he goes from his own choice but i think that's a fun thing to do iyswim? we make a fuss of him though). we sometimes spot the signs but he never does. we've tried explaining what the sensation is like but it's so hard to explain.
DH has apologied, in his own way

it took DS a while to get it (and we had 3 separate attempts at training)

we had a few accidents which i think is part of it

until they get the sensation which may take a little while i don't know what you can do other than ltos of praise when he gets a wee in the loo

thanks no magic wand then
don't think DH minds accidents, just when they're seconds later than when hes tried to take him to the toilet and DS has kicked up a fuss
And he can't go back in napppies, he'd be devestated
