DD has been dry during the day for a good 8 months now and dry at night for about 6 weeks. This last week she has wet herself almost everyday and today 3 times. The last occasion she had held it so long she literally dived on the toilet still wearing her knickers and tights and just wee'd.

Every time she is very upset when i ask her why she didn't go earlier I just don't know what to do.

I tried to go back to asking her regularly if she needed the toilet to keep it on her mind but she has got frustrated and angry by this and says she doesn't need the toilet yet minutes latter she is holding herself and stamping her feet like she is desperate and we don't make it to the loo.

Has anyone else gone through this? what did you do?

Could she have a urine infection?

DD1 wetting herself is normally my heads up that she is brewing an infection. She insists it doesn't hurt but just suddenly has no control over her bladder.
I would ask the doc for a urine test just to check TBH.

Agree with JB. Only time that DD wets herself is when she has an infection.

Is she weeing at night too?

ok i'll check that out no she is not wetting in the night

i didnt mention that dd2 is now 10 weeks old and from looking through other threads it seems this may be a factor. I just presumed regressing to wetting herself would have happened sooner after dd2's birth if it was going to happen at all

Being potty trained at 2.2yo is very early and it is not unusual for them to go through a phase of wetting again.

With DS it was when he started getting so engrossed in playing that he would forget to go (or not want to stop playing)
