i have a 32month old boy who refuses to poo at all. he isnt constipated. when he feels he needs to go he will cross his legs and hold it in causing tiny amounts to leak out causing severe nappy rash.
he can do this for days till i make him do it by holding his legs apart.
i dont know what else to do to make him go. we had started toilet trainning but now he refuses to even use the potty.

Have you gone to your GP for advice? My dd1 refused to poo and the doctor gave her senna and lactalose so that she really couldn't hold it in any more. She was on this for quite a while as her witholding made her very constipated.

the doctor put him on a laxative (he was on it for 3months) and he still held it in i have no idea how he did it lol. but i will go back and try again
