tansition from bare bottom to pulling knickers off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My DD can pee and poo on the potty, puts up a fight sometimes for me to put her on the potty, well most of the time. Dosnt tell me she needs to go on the potty....She will go on potty by herself when she needs to go if she has no bottoms on.
She has been ill for a month will 2 viruses...bad diarrhea for a bit so had to put trainer pants on. She is now doing solid poo's again...yippeee.
However how do I get her to pull down her knickers without a fight. I have now got a reward chart and I praise her lots when she has been on the potty...
Do I just stick at it and one day she will click?
Know it's a learning curve. Just so many wet knickers clothes etc...know it's because she has been ill.
Any other tips I'm missing?

What about leaving her without pants whenever possible for a bit longer,as she seems to like to be in control of when she uses the potty if that makes sense.

Then take her out and let her choose some pretty pants.
