DD will only poo standing up. How is she ever going to use the toilet?

DD2(2.5) has been dry for a few months, but poo is a different matter.

She won't/can't sit down to do a poo, so always asks for a nappy. She sometimes gets constipated, so to avoid making it worse by refusing to give her a nappy and her holding it in, I always get a nappy for her.

How can I get her to sit down and poo? Could there be a physiological reason why she needs to stand up or is it most likely just psychological?

I always ask if she wants to use the potty or toilet when putting the nappy on, but get a very firm no in reply.

Has anyone else had a DC who was like this?
