Sorry strange question here but on the verge of seriously trying to Potty Train DS he's 2.6 so think its about time, when we take his nappy off and leave the potty out hes quite happy to do a wee. However he always does it stood up, he just wont sit down to know thats probably not a bad thing but I am little worried about what happens when he wants to do a number 2 and wont sit down!!!!!

Any ideas on getting him to sit down!!!

Put the potty in front of the TV or wherever he would naturally sit (no, not at the dinner table for Sunday lunch )

It's best to teach them to sit, their aim is appalling!

I am finding the toilet much easier than pottys (I'm currently training DD) as you can put a step under their feet so they can get on and off easily and then call it a 'throne'.

We now have a 'toilet crown' (Well it does seem to be encouraging her to go at least!)

Have his dad tell him he stands to wee and sits to poo. Explain to him why.
