DS is 28mths.
For the last 3-4 mths he's started TT himself, stripping himself, going to the toilet/potty for a wee/poo.

I decided I'd try him in pants, he has speech delay, at 28mths he has 10 or less (one words) understandable words. So I have to ask him every 5 mins or so, I feel at times he is saying NO because he's fed up of me asking, but what else am I meant to do?

So, if he's near the toilet he'll take himself off, if he's not he wee's himself, then comes to find me (if he's at the park/in the garden) and pulls at his shorts/trousers to tell me he's wet!

Should I continue this? Or stop and wait? He had 1 accident from 2-6.30pm today, and 1 yesterday.

You don't ask, you say "come on, let's go and wee now." or "Can you see if you can wee on that bit of toilet paper?" or "Let's throw some cheerios in the toilet and see if you can sink them." Potty training can be fun, it doesn't have to be stressful for all concerned.
