Night time training

DD is 4 and never ever woke up with a dry nappy in the morning. I'm just wondering if it will just suddenly happen or do we need to do night time toilet training? I've heard conflicting advice. All my friend's DC started being dry overnight soon after they were dry in the daytime, but DD has been daytime trained for about a year and nothing is changing at night.

You can't train, its hormonal. My DS was dry in the day at 2.5 and 8/9 at night.

I’m not so sure, generally I think it’s worth having a try without night nappies at around late 4/ 5 if not already dry.

Just thought I'd update on this in case anyone else wondering the same thing! My initial post was prompted by my DD wanting to go without nappies at night so we let her give it a go. The first two nights she did have an accident but not since! She has had over a week of dry nights now! This after never ever waking up with a dry nappy in the morning. So definitely worth giving it a go. Especially when initiated by them!
