Potty training at nursery - Help!

My LB is almost 3 and we've been potty training since October. It's gone well. He isn't great at telling us when he needs, but he can hold it and we can tell the signs when he needs. We have very few accidents.
Nursery is a completely different story though! We're still having 4/5 accidents almost every day. It's exhausting and so disheartening- not to mention the washing! The nursery were a bit blasé about it to start with (I know it's normal for them to still have accidents for a while at nursery) but we've recently enforced they need to be taking him regularly
They've implemented a timer this week, first for every 45 mins but now they are doing it every 15mins because he was still having accidents (he goes every 2 hours-ish at home). None of it seems to be working and I think he's getting fed up with it, especially every 15 minutes!

Anyone been through similar and did it improve? If so when? It's been months now and not sure what else to do!

It takes an average of 6 months to potty train according to ERIC.

DS1 is still unreliable 2 years in, not dry at night and in school (he’s 4.5yo). Most of his accidents now are small, about the size of his palm and happening because of FOMO. Accidents usually happen towards the end of the day or in an unfamiliar environment, I always make sure he knows where the toilet is. It’s a lot better than it was.

FWIW I have another son, who is younger. DS2 is 2.5yo and potty trained basically overnight. He’s dry at night too.

They’re all different. And they’ll get there in their own time. Think about how far he’s come since October.
