Accidents after new baby arrived

My little boy was toilet trained in October and hasn’t had any accidents since about a week into it. He turned 3 this week. His little sister arrived in December and in the past 10 days he’s started having accidents at home (not at nursery or if we are out). He absolutely loves his sister but I do expect it’s driven by her arrival a month ago.

My question is, how have others managed this? Do they just ‘get over it’ themselves or should we be saying something to help him with the situation? He refuses to talk about it when we ask him what’s up etc

My daughter had a bad potty training regression starting just before her baby sister was born. We made no big deal of it, made sure we were giving her as much attention and affection as possible, and it settled down within a few weeks.

Late reply, but we had a similar regression after baby sister born.

We tried to keep very calm about it, but also went back to taking DS to the toilet at regular intervals. The Bluey "tactical wee" concept helped a lot with that.
