Wasn’t sure whether to put this in sleep or potty training.
DS just turned 3 and we did potty training about 6 weeks ago. He did really well and after the first day has hardly had an accident - apart from at preschool! He has around 3-5 wee accidents every day he’s there, some of them so big we are having to wash his shoes as they smell of wee.
I don’t know how much they’re encouraging him to go, or keeping an eye on him - but surely this many accidents isn’t good for his self esteem or confidence with this process? Or should I just wait it out? I’ll chat to pre school room lead on Thursday but just wondering if this is normal or something that needs to be raised. He’s been getting quite distressed about going to preschool but fine when we drop him off, too!
Also he has suddenly started waking at 5am… normally we got to at least 6.30 before but the last few weeks have been rough and varied from 4.45-5.30am. He’s full of beans and ready to go but flagging by 6pm (he doesn’t nap anymore). Could this be linked to the potty training too?
