Potty training troubles!

Trying to potty train my nearly 3 year old for around 4 months now. She gets really excited about it, will go on to the potty for a day, then looses complete intrest. I dont want it to turn in to a fight so im not forcing it as i dont want to put her off/stress her out over it. Weve tried books, telly, treats (choc if she goes on the pot) singing songs, talking about it, those reusable pants that hold the urine but dosent let it leak but dosent make them feel dry.
But nothing. She becomes panicked sometimes when doing a poo or right before. Sometimes hides ij the wardrobe, but cant tell me why. Im also not sure if she can tell when she needs a wee. I know she knows when its happening as she tells me shes doing a wee. But not sure if she can feel the want to go or recognise it. I have asked her but get mixed responses.
Any tips would be appreciated. Or if anyone has had similar situations would love to hear. I know shes still young and every child is different but i just worry. Please no negative comments or judgement. Thank you!

Some may not like this one but dd was very reluctant so we just had to go for it! It took three weeks of us not giving in - she would scream saying she wanted her nappy and would wee her pants. One day she decided to give in and was fully toilet trained that day and never again had an accident. I'm sure her ND had something to do with it - i assume the feeling/sensation of the hatred of any sort of change.

Have you tried a sticker chart? Or a toilet alarm (set it every hour) and every time it goes off time for everyone in the house to use the loo. Then you can say is mummy going first or DD so it’s less focus just on them.

I don’t really have any advice sorry but didn’t want to read and run. My DS started to get the hang of it the second time with no nappies and nothing on bottom half for 4/5 days. The first time he just didn’t get it and we went back to nappies for 6 weeks or so then tried again. Not sure that would work if you have been doing it for so long though. Has she had any days of success?

Eric are really helpful, might be worth contacting them, especially for advice around how to tackle poo?

I was advised not to use the potty training pants, just knickers. It's meant my washing pile has been ridiculous and I've washed my floors more times than they've ever been washed ever. But he was obviously standing weeing himself and seeing and feeling it happen sort of made it click for him. We're still in the trenches though 🤞
