Four year old DGS with autism

Hello!
Looking for some advice please.
My four year old grandson has autism. He is the sweetest, most precious little boy and I adore him so much!
Anyway, he isn't toilet trained yet. I'm looking for advice on how to start. He is now too big to sit on a potty. He is extremely anxious around public toilets because of the hand dryers being so sudden and noisy. He doesn't like toilets at home as he is worried about the flush, so I never flush the loo if he is nearby.
He is in pull-ups although I think he does know when he needs "to go".
I'd like for him to be toilet trained during these summer holidays although, obviously, at his own pace and with no anxiety.
Any tips greatfully received!
Many thanks!
