We started potty training DD 2.5yrs on Friday, taking advantage of the bank holiday weekend so we’d both be home for four days. It’s gone really well so far — she had a couple of accidents on the first day but has been dry ever since. We haven't had to remind her to go, apart from when we’re about to head out in the car, and then we just ask her to try before we leave.

The only issue is that she hasn’t had a bowel movement since Saturday, and I’m starting to feel a bit concerned. She’s tried a few times, and I even offered her a pull-up in case that made her more comfortable, but she said no.

Just wondering if anyone else has been through something similar or has any advice? We’ve been really encouraging and gentle throughout — reassuring her when accidents happened, and it hasn’t seemed like a stressful process for her. Apart from this, she’s taken to potty training really well.
