Potty training my son

Hello.
Tomorrow I am going to be starting to potty training my son. I am coming on here for advice really.

I know it may sound a bit daft but I've got two older daughters and that was a walk in the park to potty train them, is it harder to potty train a boy?

I have tried doing it before with him but it was a disaster. He was sitting on his potty for a while and I kept asking him if he needed a wee and he had a drink near by, he kept saying he didn't need a wee. Next thing I new he stood up and wee'd everywhere 🙈
So please give me some tips and advice from your experiences, all is appreciated 😊

I don't have girls so can't compare, but my DS was 2.5 and nailed peeing in half a day. I think you'll be fine! 🙂 I did the thing where you just put them in undies and put them on the potty/toilet when they start going. He got it on the third try. Used stickers and m&ms as rewards.
