Frustration

Hi all, our 4 year old still won't use a potty at home, in Nursery he uses the toilet ( most of the time anyway) but he refuses point blank to use anything at home, any suggestions please guys?

A few suggestions, along with sympathy! At 4, he may think a potty is for babies. I assume he has a loo seat for when he needs to sit down. Could you involve him in choosing a new one, in case the novelty wins him over? You have the benefit of the talking skills of a four-year old so could ask him to try and tell you why he uses the loo at nursery but not at home. Does he respond to rewards? If so, a sticker chart so he can see how well he's doing? Could you ask nursery to encourage him to use the loo at home? Is he dry at night?
