Hi,

I've been following the oh crap method and staying indoors bottomless with my 2.5 year old daughter for three days now and we've had almost zero progress. She hasn't done any wees or poos in the potty or toilet only the floor. She has progressed in the sense of knowing she's going to go but she's getting panicky and when I try to put her on the toilet or potty she freaks out and will throw the potty across the room. She has become much more interested in the bathroom than the potty in the living room but still has only sat on the toilet twice. We put up a rewards chart but she just finds it fascinating and is confused by the stickers and I can't establish the reward system because she won't sit on the potty to be rewarded.

Should I stop? Is it too soon? She is very smart in her own way and very headstrong but she was a late talker and walker and likes to find her own way to things.

Any advice appreciated.

How delayed walking and taking was she? 2.5 is still pretty young my boy twin showed no interest at that age whereas his sister did it herself within a week she was out of nappies for good. I decided to wait with him and tried age 3 and he then picked it up quickly
