DD age 3 has been successfully potty trained for months now - since around February. Never had a problem with poos and no real problem with wee after the first day or 2.

However, over the last few days she's started doing bits of poo in her pants. She's not soiling herself completely and is able to tell me what's happened but it isn't something she has done before and I'm a bit confused about why she is suddenly starting to poo in her pants. She's obviously realising and then stopping herself, which is better than the alternative, but she's still getting a small amount poo in the pants. Any ideas why this might have started happening and what the best approach is? Any advice welcome.

Thanks!

Is she constipated? Maybe worth a trip to the GP to check. It could be overflow, where soft poo goes around the blockage and leaks out
