I'm taking my grand daughter out for the day this weekend, she is 2.5 years and potty training.
Now, 20 years ago, it was acceptable to allow children to water the grass, is this still the case?
If not, how do I do it? TIA

Travel potty or a public toilet

I'd skip the day out, to be honest.

Could she just spend the day at home with you or in your home?

We did nature wees as long as it's vaguely hidden / off the main track etc. Especially when potty training! But only in parks etc not just the street / people's front lawns

I think it's ok as long as you're not right next to other people and you make at least some effort to be discreet. But some children aren't happy weeing like that - my 2yo can't get comfortable without a potty or toilet seat. I'd take a potty.
