5 year old leaks thru pull-ups overnight! Help...?

Completely lost here ladies.

My twins' potty training in the daytime was about as painless and easygoing as I could have hoped for.

However, one of the two is still nowhere near close to staying dry at night. (his brother was dry at night before even being daytime trained!)

He's in the nighttime pull-ups right now. But they seem to leak almost every other night these days. We've tried multiple brands, right now using the night time pants from Tesco. But I'm so, so tired of washing sheets constantly...

Help!

Do you take him to the toilet when you go to bed?

No advice but following OP as we are having the same trouble with my 4.5 year old.

Potty trained for 2 years but pull up saturated overnight & as of this week leaking every night.

A previous poster recommends taking to toilet when we go to bed but he's a bloody nightmare to get to sleep, usually dont get him down till 8:15/30 so am loathe to wake him at 10 because that would be it then & we’d be awake for hours!

Our DD is 4 and we don’t use the pull ups as I found they didn’t hold as much especially at nighttime, ended up going back to the normal nappies with the tabs

I had the same problem with my son and as above poster we went back to standard nappies and it stopped.
I think pull ups are designed to catch one wee or slight accidents rather than hold a few actual wees and my son was producing more than they could hold.

Go back to standard nappies. Pull ups hold a lot less pee.

Have you tried just laying down lots of bed protection and going cold turkey? Does not work for all kids, but sometimes kids do get dry at night after a few uncomfortable and disrupted nights.

Hi, Have you seen the Hygge Sheets mattress protectors - they go on top of the child's fitted sheets and come in different designs too... good for leaks and when you don't need a pullup anymore too. A few of my friends have them, but we don't need them yet but will be getting some. This is the link bedwetting sheets kids I believe they are also on amazon too.
