I’ve only just started potty training with my 28 month old little boy so I’m not expecting miracles. We’ve got a mini potty toilet which he sits on throughout the day, yesterday to start he said ‘wee wee mummy’ which was amazing and done a wee on the potty, he had a few accidents yesterday but weed about 3 times on the potty super proud. I think he definitely knows when he needs to go because as I said yesterday to start he said wee wee mummy but now he’s saying cuddle mummy to try and jump on my lap and wee on my instead of the floor. Today he’s point blank refusing to sit on the potty when he knows he needs to go, he’s screaming and I’ve had to Physically sit him on there and then he done a big wee! He’ll sit on the potty other times but just doesn’t want to wee on there now, he has sweeties as a reward for going on there, I know I’m only a few days in but I just don’t want to traumatise him, any advice 🙈
