Started potty training today. I was at work so started about 1pm as partner had taken him out this morning,
He had a couple of wee accidents and then he's just got out his paddling pool and told me he needs a wee and done a big wee on the potty unprompted. How often do I need to sit him on the potty? I'd been doing every half hour but it feels too much.
All day he's not seem too bothered about it but has been sitting on the potty but that was his first wee on there. We can be in the house now till Wednesday so going to stick at it.
I was questioning whether he was ready but I think he is and the understanding is definitely there.
I've put a nappy on him now for bed time and told him nappies are just for sleep.
He's 2 years 7 months old. We are due a baby end of December and would really like this cracked before he turns 3 and with a new baby.
