I’ve been trying to potty train my boy for a while now. He’s 2y9m and I’m trying to get him done before he starts at his pre school in September. He has complete understanding and control but will not let it go and has only managed a few drops on the potty. He will hold it in until I put a nappy on for his nap. He will happily sit on the potty, although not for long, but will not let anything out. I’m at a loss as what to do and I’m not convinced that just taking a break will make it any easier in a month to or 2. Has anyone else been in this position and what has worked for you?
