We've been potty training our 3.5 year old the past few weeks. Admittedly a bit late as we suspect autism and wanted to wait until he was truly ready.
He's picked it up AMAZINGLY. We're on no accidents now, the only thing is he won't wear underwear!!!
I suspect it's a sensory thing. I've tried briefs, boxers, loose boxers - he just won't wear them he wants to go commando. What I don't get is that he'll wear shorts - how does he know the difference?!
He's not pulling his own pants down yet, so I don't think it's to do with having another layer to pull down.
Can anyone suggest any underwear that won't make him scream in my face?
