We are potty training our 3 year old son. He will go for a wee on the potty. He has had one poo on the potty and got rewarded with treats, a new toy and encouragement such as proud of you, high fives and well done but he’s not had a poo since. He also now will only stand up for a wee on his potty. Not sure if he was copying his daddy but now I think it’s because he thinks if he sits down a poo might come out and he doesn’t want that to happen but I need advice on what to do so he has his pops on the potty and doesn’t save them for his pull ups or night time nappy. I know it’s a different feeling for them pooing on the potty to pooing in a nappy.
Any advice please?
