It is not too young to get her used to a potty. So have it out and sit her on it after you take her nappy off. Exposure to colder air sometimes makes them pee anyway. But at this stage it is just getting used to sitting on a potty and not being scared of it.
I am older and we used to say a child was ready to be potty trained when their nappies were dry when you checked them at the usual time you would expect them to be full. It is a sign they have the muscles to hold on.

Unless you're doing elimination communication, 6 months is very early to potty train but you know if your child is ready. Most people would start around 18 months which is still very young and if depends on the child.

Since Ds always decides to surprise me with a fountain of pee, i think this may happen on potty as well correct?

And do you mean at night for example?

Some family members are telling me am being unreasonable to try before the age of 2 yrs

@Remo22 I mean at 6 months she will not have the bladder control to become toilet trained. But you can if you want get her used to the potty so she is not scared of it.
And yes if you take her nappy off she may pee because of exposure to cold air.

Be aware though of posting too many details or descriptions on MN as there are some men who get off on reading this stuff unfortunately.

Using three dots on top right hand side.
Yes it is disgusting.
But just get your DC used to the potty and sitting on the potty. Once he has control over his bladder muscles you can encourage him to go in the potty. But no rush, he is still very young.
