Hi, I am a mum of 5 kids and recently one of my kiddos (4M) has been having some big potty issues
Up until a few weeks ago, he was fully potty trained during the day and wore pull ups at night, but most of the time he woke up dry.
However about a week and a half ago he caught a very nasty stomach bug he was quite unwell. He had very bad diarrhea to the point where it would of been impossible to ask him to make it to the toilet in time. He was also lethargic so he would sleep a lot.
Me and my husband decided to put him in pull ups until he was better, and he recovered after about 5 days.
But ever since then he's been having frequent accidents at school and at home.
He comes home from school wet most days and sometimes with poop stains in his underwea
We took him to the doctors and they confirmed it's nothing medical, so we had a talk with him. Gently, we asked him what was happening. He cried and said he didn't know, and that he wanted to go back to normal.
He's very embarrassed and is refusing to go to school.
Does anyone have any advice because I just want to help him and it breaks my heart to see him so miserable :(
