My son is 3 in April. We have been trying to potty train on and off for about 3/4 months, not too pushy or nothing just when and as.
Just before Christmas we had 1 great day where he used it 5 times in 1 day with 2 accidents, he worse no nappy and no trousers all day.
The next day I done the exact same as the day before which was naked on the bottom and just reminding him to use it throughout the day.
He will not use the potty Infront of me and his dad he would only use it when we left the room so I even kept leaving the room to see if he would do it and he wouldn't he held it for about 5 hours and then had an accident on the floor when I left the room. Done this for 2 more days and was the same. Then started crying for a nappy on so I left it a few weeks, didn't mention it.
I have been trying again the last few days, even trying to encourage him with a sticker chart and a chocolate button every time he goes, he's not interested he just cries for a nappy on. I even just put his trousers on with no nappy, he done 4 accidents. Any tips and advise would be much appreciated x
