I started training DS (3 last month) in October. It’s fair to say it hasn’t been a smooth process but I think we’re mostly there with wee although he won’t go unless told.
Poo is another matter and he just poos in his pants and tells me ‘I’ve pooed!’ I’ve followed the advice on the NHS website and just stayed calm, said not to worry and cleaned it up. I’ve said ‘shall we try to get it in the toilet next time?’ all encouraging and he agrees cheerily but never does.
I did expect and don’t mind accidents but he isn’t even trying so I’m wondering if he actually knows he is having a poo? Argghh
