Hi all,

DD has now done a few wees on the potty and nursery have said they can offer the potty at each nappy change. A couple of the wees have been before a bath and a couple first thing in the morning, so have been fairly easy to catch. I'm now nervous nursery could actually throw off the positives if not done properly?

I may be insane for not following a specific method, but am just listening and talking to DD about it, which seems to be working for us. Anyone done similar?

Will also speak to nursery properly about the methods they've seen and why they suggested this approach, but would like to be aware of other's experiences if possible!

Thanks in advance for any experiences shared!

I've not done it that young but we too didn't follow a method. I sat them on the potty at specific times, like snack time in the morning or when I was running the bath. Didn't comment if nothing happened but made a huge fuss if they'd done anything in there. Like throwing them in the air and catching kind of excitement.

Definitely talk to the Nursery to see if they are used to ones this she being potty trained and how they support potty training Wink
