Messing about = not ready?

Been trying potty training but a lot of silliness, putting potty on his head and sitting on it then leaping up again etc. Does this mean not ready?

I'd say so. With my first I tried many times and eventually about 2y 10 months she just said she wasn't wearing nappies anymore and was pretty much dry day and night since. DD2 is 2y9m and def won't be anytime soon though 🙈

I don't know why but boys do often take longer than girls to potty train.
