Bed wetting at night

Hiya, I've seen lots of posts about potty trained children who don't stop bed wetting at night until their are a lot older but I wanted to see if anyone shared my experience.
My daughter was fully potty trained by age 2, in April this year. As soon as she knew how to use the potty in the day then a week later she was dry at night. I didn't think this could be possible because of everything I read, but my mum and partners mum said this was the case for all their kids so wasn't sure why some kids now we're still struggling to stop weeing at night.
End of August my daughter got the most horrific cough which kept her (and us) up most of the night for 5ish weeks. And she started wetting the bed. I guess the coughing made her wee.
She's now got over the cough but she now can't stop weeing in her sleep.
We put her back in nappies at night but she's so sad about it and keeps saying she's not a big girl anymore. She's fine for her naps if they aren't more than 2 hours long (she can nap for around 3 hours).
Anyone have this and if so, did it sort itself out, or is it going to be a case of waiting until she's a lot older to stop??
Thank you

Yes i had this with my youngest he was dry at night for months then suddenly he wasn't. What you might not want to hear is he is 7 now and still not dry. But just relax about it. As to her thinking she isn't a big girl she isn't even 3 yet so where has she heard that?

She picked it up from nursery /TV, plus us saying how much of a big girl she's getting /growing into etc. She knows she's not a baby and she knows she's not a grown up so she calls herself a big girl 😊

It's so odd though how many kids now, are bed wetting until they are almost 10, when years ago, from loads of people I've spoken to, we just stopped after being potty trained. Or maybe people just aren't admitting to bed wetting until a later age 🤔
