Hi everyone ,
We tried potty training our daughter(2.5 years) for the first time about a month ago. She seemed interested, wanted to sit on the potty and was very much into picking out her own pants and hated nappies.
However when it came to actually peeing or pooing on the potty or little toilet in nursery she became upset when she started to pee but then was very proud of herself when she did manage it. Nursery tried to persevere for a day or two but then we stopped cause she just didn't seem ready
She's still happy now to sit on the toilet or potty but she will just not actually go. Sees it more as a place to be entertained as we read books etc :)
So now I am wondering...will she just come around herself and when she's ready and won't be upset when she i.e. pees? Is it just a matter of time? Has anyone had any experience with this?
