Sleep issues now potty trained (day)

Hi,
Just looking for some input from others who have been through the potty training phase and experienced a similar issue to ours …

started potty training my LO and after about 3 days she was great going for her wees, no accidents for about 3 or 4 weeks now, (poos not as straight forward) but that’s okay, she’s doing really well.
However, we haven’t had an undisturbed night in weeks now, at first she was waking and telling us she needed a wee and would go about 2 times a night and be pretty dry come morning or one night I think she actually slept through and woke with a dry nappy but since then, she wakes a good 3 times a night crying, it’s like she knows she’s wet, or she needs a wee but she’s too tired and confused to register it. We put her on the potty etc in the night but she is either waking crying or like crying in her sleep because I think she is a bit uncomfortable and confused, it’s really becoming an issue now. She has dropped her nap also so has a super early bed time but given she is having disrupted sleep she is crankier in the day.

For background, she is 2 years 4 months. She is still in a cot and sleeps in a pull up, some mornings she wakes really wet, even after having a wee in the night.

I can’t really reduce liquids before bed because of her going to bed so early (6:30), I considered a toddler bed but I honestly can’t imagine her going to sleep or staying in her bed.

It’s getting to us all now, we went from about 11 hours good sleep to constant broken sleep and I’m just wondering what others have experienced ? I know she will need to wake for a wee in the night but now it’s like 4-5 wake ups a night and I think the wee thing is what wakes her but then sometimes won’t go back to sleep.

thanks :)

@FearlessMumma I’m not concerned about her being nighttime potty trained, I don’t think in my original post I mentioned working to get her night time trained, just that the fact we have done day time is now impacting her sleep. My concern is for her sleep quality right now, I know she isn’t developmentally ready to be dry through the night and I’m happy for her to continue with pull ups but the fact she is dry in the day seems to be playing on her mind during the night and waking her. I just wanted to know whether day time potty training disrupted sleep for others and if any one had any ideas on how to improve things.
