We are on day 1 of training DS2 who is 2yrs 8 months. I know it's super early days but it's not going well AT ALL. He flat out refuses to wear underpants and/or sit on the toilet (we have a little seat) and keeps asking for a nappy. With DS1 obviously we had loads of accidents at first but he is a more easy going child and would sit from the start so we could "catch" something and reward him.
Has anyone managed to potty training their stubborn toddler? I feel like it's going to turn into a battle of wills.
We are not in the UK and he starts at school (pre school really) in September and he needs to be out of nappies by then so I don't really want to start and then stop again.
Please help!
