Won't wear knickers!

Hi... does anyone have any tips?
My little girl is doing really well with potty training, but she is point blank refusing to wear knickers... any idea how to convince her to wear her knickers?!

(She will happily wear a dress/shorts with no pants under, but that isn't always practical when out and about etc)

Have you only tried one brand? Have you gotten them on at least once? Mine found the seams and elastic in many brands intolerable. I had to seek out very soft, seamless, and without an elastic waistband.

Character knickers or pants. It was Frozen knickers back in the day with my refusenik. Take her shopping for something she likes. Also helps with reluctant pooers. I just had to put one precious pair dramatically in the bin..... 😉

I'd just let her carry on if she'll wear shorts. She'll come round soon enough.

You can try taking her to the shop and letting her choose. Getting character ones. Very basic ones with no frills etc. Or shorts style ones (might need to look in the boys section). But mostly just don't worry about it.

We have a variety of brands, she's my second DD so have tried many brands of knickers over the years and have found Asda the best for coverage and comfort with my eldest.
We have Peppa, Frozen and dino pants, her three favourite things in all the world.... she is refusing all of them!
I just showed her some shorts style knickers online and she said 'no, thank you!' at least she's polite in her refusal!

Try boxers they are looser but do exactly the same job. She may not like the tighter elastic on girls pants.

Also don't call them pants if you do try boxers. Call them shorts, it's amazing how much power the wrong word has for small children and it sounds like "knickers" is out for a while for you.

Just buy cotton cycling shorts and let her wear those on their own either with a t shirt or dress over
