Scared of public toilets

Dd is 3.5 and totally potty trained at home and has been for about 4 months. The last stumbling block seems to be getting her to use the toilet outside of the house, she actually seems scared every time we go into a public loo. She's happy at home and grandparents but will not use the toilet anywhere else.

She's starting nursery soon so I am keen to get past this and obviously it is also a bit inconvenient! Has anyone experiences similar? Any tips?

Does she have a travel potty she'll use? Have you tried that, but in a public toilet as a compromise?

Thank you - I'm reluctant to go back to a potty as she has been using the actual toilet really well. We do have a toddler seat we can take out with us, I'll give it a try, it's just a pain to have to lug it around !
