Potty trained with no pants

My little boy has started potty training. We started by having the potty around and taking off nappy and let him wander around naked. All is fine and he takes himself off. Great. But once he has pants or trousers on, he just sets them. Will he just get this over time?

It will, practice pulling them down and up. Make a game of it. He'll start to not like the wet feeling.
