Too much wee?

FTM, started potty training yesterday, DS turned 2 in Jan.
He's really taken to it, handful of accidents first thing yesterday but solidly using it since midday yesterday for both poo and wee.
Already today he's been for 5 wees, I've kept an eye on fluids and he's had approx 500mL today. Yesterday he passed urine 12 times and drank approx 1.2L
Does this seem about right ?!
He's always had heavy nappies

Thats normal until they get the feeling of holding it until their bladder is full. In nappies they just pee little and often. My daughter did 16 wees on the second day of potty training! Now she has a bladder of a camel and can go hours and hours.
