Nighttime dryness

Hello,

we are going without nappies at night for the first time tonight. My understanding is you shouldn’t lift them out of bed to go for a wee because it doesn’t teach them to wake themselves up. But should we check her before we go to bed and change her if she’s wet?

tbh now I’ve written it down it seems a bit obviously that we should check she’s not wet before we go to bed so she’s not lying in urine 😆

I would check, yes.

Have you got a washable waterproof msg for her to sleep on?

Don't worry if it doesn't work at first, dry nights can take a while, mine were in night time nappies for a long while after they came out of day time nappies.
